For a few years I was lost, not knowing what to do trying to please everyone. I always thought about others first. I lost contact with loved ones and it has not been easy road. I had to learn the hard way. I had forgotten that the only ONE I had to please was GOD. I believe Jesus is THE way to have a right relationship with God. If I can't have a relationship with HIM how do I expect to have it with anyone else. Right? I believed and trusted in Jesus Christ to forgive my many offenses and guide me the right way. Its been a rocky road but, it's all worth it because in the bumpy road I have come back to HIM. I know He has given me purpose, joy, and peace in a twisted world that seems to get worse everyday.
One of the hardest tests for me was to forgive. It is not easy to forgive when certain people that you love hurt you. How amazing is it HE loved me that much to suffer that much pain.
Here are some of the verses that have helped me in life. God is LOVE. I mean WOW Jesus died for me.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.
1 John 3:16-19
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence.
Matthew 6: 14-15
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
I truly live by this: I don't hate anyone it is just a waste of time...
~Love one Another~
I'm not perfect but I trust in Jesus Christ that HE will guide me in the right direction and serve HIM and help those in need.
I still need a lot of work but for now this is where I stand.
